This petition is for those whose complaints and reports about the unsafe parking hazards in our neighborhood have had their concerns fall on deaf ears. Or be told depending on who you report it to that it is not their responsibility, and give you someone else to make reports to.
I know besides myself I can't be the only one tired of no one owning up to taking responsibility for the unsafe conditions we are living in our neighborhood day in and day out.
So please sign this petition and share it with as many as you can to sign the petition in hopes of the steps to correct what is happening to no longer go ignored.
We the undersigned are requesting that the hazards and safety issues dealing with vehicle parking laws in our housing area located in the Pope Housing Neighborhood to finally have our concerns, reports, and complaints taken serious. Not to be told by our own MPs it's not their job to enforce the parking rules, or our housing office to also state they were only responsible for posting signs stating the parking rules, not to enforce them.
This petition will be given to the Provost Marshall, Corvias Head Housing Office, and the office for the IG. In hopes that we will no longer be brushed off, or deal with the dangers of vehicles choosing to park their vehicles on every side of the street, and the majority of those doing this not even utilizing their driveway that is designed for parking their vehicles with enough space to fit two vehicles in.
You have to bob and weave between vehicles to avoid hitting them, along with avoiding oncoming cars also trying to bob and weave around all the illegally and unnecessarily parked vehicles on the side of the street. What is it going to take to realize we are not backing down? What if we just decided to no longer accommodate all those parked where they shouldn't be and let our vehicles just scrape or bump into the parked cars that block complete mode of travel. I bet then something would be done if this is how we chose to handle the matter that neither the MPs or Corvias Housing seem to be able to handle.
Again I'm requesting for all those who wish for a safe mode of travel down the streets in our own neighborhood to please sign this and pass it along.
