Here's the thing...Stranger Things is a fantastic show that offers an engaging plot line, inspiring characters, heart-pounding action sequences, and many strange(r) things. Season 2 is almost upon us, and this fabulous show deserves, nay, it DEMANDS to be watched in its entirety without pause or breaks of any kind. (Well, maybe only once, to pause and take in Dustin's adorable, toothless smile...) For many of us, our jobs inhibit us from accomplishing this undertaking on the day of the premiere (which is also a must). This does quite an injustice to the show, and must not be allowed to happen. Therefore, the fourth Friday of October should be made a national holiday, so that every loyal, hardworking man and woman of this great nation may have the opportunity to watch this riveting show as it deserves to be watched: At home, on the couch, with a plate of hot Eggos in the lap, and a can of Slice in hand.
We, the undersigned, call upon Congress (or the holiday people) to delcare the fourth Friday of October a national holiday, entitled "National Stranger Things Binge Day."
