Eric Northman, vampire viking and sheriff of Area 5 in the kingdom of Louisiana, was created by Charlaine Harris in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series, and plays a critical role in the books. He was then brought to life by Alan Ball (creator of the show True Blood) and Alexander Skarsgård who plays him in series.
For the fans who've read the books, it is hard to deny that Eric and Sookie (the protagonist) have this mutual pull towards each other. Therefore, to keep align the spirit of the books in the True Blood series, we need more Eric scenes for more development of his character.
We, the undersigned, call on the HBO and Alan Ball to get Alexander Skarsgård billed as a main character in the True Blood series. This is to ensure that we will get more Eric-filled scenes in the upcoming seasons of this worldwide popular show.
We, as fans, might not get as much Eric scenes during the rest of season 3, but we will be looking forward to seeing that change in season 4 premièring in 2011.
