This is a petition regarding the new schedule change for CATS buses that has taken effect on Novemeber 26, 2007. The bus schedule change seems to have not been for the better but for the worsse.
The buses in the mornings run every 20-25 minutes which is not acceptable in the mornings and in the evenings after 6:30 the buses run about every 30-45 minutes.
As citizens who pay taxes and who just voted to repeal the half cent transit tax you would think the bus schedule would have changed for the better and not the worst. When these schedules are being considered who is planning them? Do the people who plan them ride the bus?
This is a concern because I am not the only one who has been complaining but one who has actually decide to step up and take action.
We, the people of Charlotte, are ready for a change. It's a growing city and when it comes to the buses it's time for improvement for the city.
With gas prices soaring and Charlotte growing there is a much needed demand for change with the bus system.
We want more routes for Charlotte Area Transit Bus Schedules. Increase the number of buses and routes.
