If a woman has had sexual intercourse and fears she may be pregnant, she can take the morning-after pill. If she is pregnant when she takes this high dosage pill, it can act to kill her pre-born child - a living being. Although no testing has been done to confirm the safety of these high dosages, the FDA has approved this use. Purdue currently makes these pills available to students on request.
We, the undersigned, petition the members of the Board of Trustees of Purdue University to establish policy to stop the dispensing of "Emergency Contraceptive pills" (known as the morning-after-pill) currently being distributed at the Purdue University Student Health Center (PUSH). These are pills that destroy human life and affect the well-being of the mother. No school of higher learning should be involved with the killing of innocent life, students of the future, by any method, even one such as this chemical abortion.
