Nationalize fuel operations / Kick out private fuel distributors in Kenya

As a developing country where we wish to see high growth level which in turn will lead to creation of both wealth and employment it is rather absurd to note that we have been facing high increase in prices due to one factor and that is Fuel price increase hence it has caused slowed growth of the Economy hence slow development levels which is below our projection.

It is out of the desire and need to have or gain stability in prices which in turn will lead to steady stable growth that we are petitioning the Government to reconsider nationalizing this product reasons for this includes:

1. Consumer protection against the so called fatcats by controlling arbitrarily exploitation of the Kenyan masses by the petrol distributors because they tend to connive among themselves to hoard this product so as to cause sharp increase of the fuel product;

2. Stabilize prices of goods,Fuel has an effect in all economic activities undertaken hence need for it to be carefully controlled so as to reduce the cost of this activities which in turn leads to good prices which can easily spur growth.

3. Since fuel is inelastic this calls for constant monitoring which can only be done with the Government.in order to ensure stability of the price is attained.
