The Old Kelso Water Treatment Plant is a currently a poor reflection on our city.
Homeless and drug addicts swarm the area making the area unsafe and a mess. Local Youth have came up with a plan to improve this area of land; use the shell of the treatment plant to build a new kelso skatepark.
While there is already a skatepark in town, this location is an ideal spot due to ease of access and its ability to decrease undesirable activities.
We, the undersigned, call the Kelso City Council to approve and support this petition to improve the image of the area by building a new skatepark.
