On October 3rd, 2013 bowing to the demands of ILLEGAL immigrants and their leftist supporters the politically correct hypocrisy remains firmly entrenched.
The California state Assembly voted 55-19 to pass a measure that had been shelved for years, requiring the California Department of Motor Vehicles to issue legitimate California drivers’ licenses to illegal immigrants who pass the driving test.
Hours later the state Senate passed the measure 28-8.
How is it that illegal immigrants are able to get a legitimate state-issued driver’s license in California when the person has no legal right to be in the state or in the United States in the first place?
Yet, remarkable as it seems that a state like California can pass a law that violates the rule of law by its very nature, California did it anyway.
This petition is the first step to create a California ballot initiative to bring back respect for the rule of law, tell our politicians it is wrong to reward lawbreakers, including those in the United States illegally, by giving them the privilege of owning government-issued IDs that formerly was reserved for its LEGAL citizens.
As a true Californian it is time to say “NO WAY!” demanding the California law be repealed, or declared unconstitutional.
