A group is pushing to build a campground that according to their website would be a private resort for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community (Note: That website changed early Wednesday. This is a prior version the planning commission printed.)
Since changed, the website originally featured photographs of same-sex couples embracing one another, kissing, and sharing a bath.
According to the site, three weeks of every month at the campground, would be clothing-optional.
Sexuality is not the only issue neighbors raised with the proposed campground. They worry if the site gets zoned commercial, it will mean more traffic on a narrow road and more noise.
I am voting AGAINST the Rosebud Lodge and Campground in Roane County Tennessee.
This is morally and Bibically wrong and would not benefit any of the residents of Roane County Tennessee. This lodge would de-value the property surrounding it and cause families to have to move due to the nudity and non-family appropriate activities.
