The government has published a shortlist of four locations for a new prison for Wales. One of those towns is Cwmbran.
The South Wales Argus believes it is wholly unsuited to housing a prison as the site is close to residential areas and three schools.
We, the undersigned, object strongly to the building of a prison in Cwmbran.
