We push for a nomination for Ronny Edry, Michal Tamir and Israel Loves Iran to be nominated for the Nobel Prize for Peace and WE NEED YOUR HELP. DEADLINE for submission is FEBRUARY. We need as much international attention as we can get and such a prize would help us a lot.
So please, send this petition via e-mail to those who may nominate candidates for the prize. DEADLINE for submission is FEBRUARY. A nomination may be submitted by:
• Members of national assemblies and governments of states
• Members of international courts
• University rectors; professors of social sciences, history, philosophy, law and theology; directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes
• Persons who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
• Board members of organizations that have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
• Active and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee; (proposals by members of the Committee to be submitted no later than at the first meeting of the Committee after February 1)
• Former advisers to the Norwegian Nobel Committee

Justification:
1- while governments are spreading hate and mistrust, and talking about war, people from Israel & Iran came together, connected and united for PEACE. The activists have a clear message to their governments: " we love each other, we don't want war " But this campaign means a lot more for peace then these colorful posters express at a first glance:
2- these activists raise a very important question: "how could I hate somebody who I don't know?" As an answer people started to connect via Facebook to get to know each other. By learning so much about the so called "foe" people learned even more about propaganda and also about their own lack of knowledge, one sided views and their own prejudices. One can say this EXCHANGE between people brought a real CHANGE on both sides and inside the people themselves. And this campaign proofs: communication is the key to peace and also the key to real information. I personally can confirm: I had amazing conversations and found a lot of smart, cultivated peaceful friends which I really appreciate a lot and who I want to meet one day.
3- If Ronny Edry & Michal Tamir would be honored with the peace nobel prize this would be a significant affirmation for all those who seek peace. It would be an historic example. Internet gives new chances for democracy and also for the international peace - movement and this prize could encourage people to join us and become activists as well.
