The MTA, specifically the New York City Transit Authority, currently provides subpar service and unsanitary conditions to their commuters.
Trains are delayed and/ or re-routed daily and stations stink of urine and feces. New Yorkers pay a lot of money to use the Subway and we deserve better!
We, the undersigned, call on the New York City Transit Authority to maintain better trains and subway stations in order to avoid service interruptions and delays.
We also demand cleaner platforms and train cars. We pay to use the Transit System everyday and deserve better than:
- Signal problems that cause delays for hours
- Stations and platforms that are not cleaned for weeks at a time
- Interrupted service for days at a time.
- Over crowded buses and trains due to excessive waiting time.
- Fare increases but quality decreases
