Oprah, Please Marry Steadman Now

We love Oprah Winfrey. We the undersigned fans of the Queen of Talk urge her to make arrangements to marry Steadman NOW.

Not only is Ms. Winfrey one of the richest women in the world, but her altruistic spirit has helped many young people achieve their life long goals. This is admirable. She is truly a role model for our youth. She recently told Barbara Walters that she wanted God to use her. The Bible declares marriage to be honorable and does not sanction live-in relationships before marriage. Numerous professional social research studies confirm that live-in relationships can be emotionally harmful. Many couples who do get married after shacking up for years have serious problems in the relationship.

Poor inner city girls who look up to Oprah think that it is alright to engage in such relationships since Oprah does it. The problem is that they cannot afford the children that often result from these live-in situations. Since there are no martial ties, young and immature males walk away from their responsibilities as father. Thus, we are perpetuating a generation of dysfunctional family relationships. Oprah and Steadman obviously love each other and there is no reason that they should not officially confess their love to the world as the Bible commands us to.

When attempting to get the Nobel Peace Prize for Ms. Winfrey, many people, especially churchgoers refused to sign our petition because Ms. Winfrey was involved in this live-in relationship with Steadman. None of us are perfect and we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.

FOR THE SAKE OF THE YOUTH OF AMERICA, MS. WINFREY, PLEASE MARRY STEADMAN NOW. OPRAH, WE LOVE YOU. OPRAH, GOD LOVES YOU TOO.
