The achievements of Olympians cannot be denied.
However, the incredible spirit and determination of Paralympians is an inspiration to all of us who have been blessed to live without disabilities.
They, the Paralympics, should therefore, be staged immediately before the Olympic games in the same venues as a tribute not only to their achievements but also as an inspiration to all humanity in succeeding despite adversity.
Paralympians to go first
"That the Paralympics should be staged immediately BEFORE the Olympic Games in the same venues as a universal recognition of their status as 'SUPERHUMANS'.
Their achievements, despite their disabilities, would be an inspiration to not only the Olympians to follow, but also to each of us who do not have to live our lives as 'disabled'.
