We residents of downtown Owatonna are battling parking in 24 hour lots. There are businesses that let there employees park there all day and night. There is a 20 hour lot right behind the 24 hour parking lot.
One of the businesses is Pizza ranch, the owner buys cars and lets them sit un-used for weeks at a time. His employees that are delivery drivers are taking up spots that residents need to park in, which makes us having to park a 4 blocks away from our apartments downtown.
We would like to try and get the 24 hour lot behind pizza ranch a parking permit lot.
We, the undersigned, call on the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce to make the 24 our parking lot behind pizza ranch a permit parking lot only.
