Mr. Victor Wogen misled the residents of DeKalb’s 3rd Ward regarding his involvement with a flier aimed at another candidate in the aldermanic election. The comments on the flier were grossly out of context. The situations to which they refer were as follows: First, two MAJORITY votes of the City Council for ending discrimination based on sexual orientation and sexual identity. Secondly, the candidate assisted a mother who’s son had lost his life in the war on terror. Though the building code violations were true, the candidate has worked on his own to repair a house he purchased that was slated for demolition.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who demand Mr. Victor Wogen act now to RESIGN his elected position as DeKalb 3rd Ward Alderman. We, the residents of DeKalb feel there is no place for an alderperson with questionable integrity representing us in our community government.
