All too often we see money spent on landscaping companies for the upkeep of communities big and small. These landscapers and complexes work together to plant sticker briar bushes and a series of somewhat dangerous spiky and inedible plants in efforts to deter people away, yet still "look nice". This has to end. With our current economic situation, shortage of food, and growing urban communities we need to look for a sensible solution to help the land, and help the people who live on it.
Tended by the people, and open to all, communities need to initiate garden areas. Also, Landscaping companies need to have a quota of edible foliage the plant in each project to aid in the forward movement of replenishing the land with edible plants.
All new subdivisions and complexes should consider an open planting area that can be monitored by the most loyal community members.
We, EBU NATION, call on Government legislation of local, state, and national levels to initiate the required movement to save our land, our people, and improve our economic condition with the planting of edible fruit bearing trees and vegetation in every community.
