The Political Party Funding Bill had been signed into law by the President of the country, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa. It will however not be implemented in the coming elections. In the light of transparency, and the right of voters to make informed choices when they go to the polls, we demand that all political parties disclose their funding sources and other relevant information. It is the right thing to do.
We, the voters of South Africa, demand and end to secret funding arrangements between political parties and their donors. We call on the government to enforce the law immediately.
