Bank Swallows (native bird) are being slowly driven from habitat to habitat in Vineyard, Utah. They have found temporary solace in a building lot, making their nests in the side of the footing of a construction site for a planned house. There are at least 200 birds nesting at this site. If not protected for the next one to two months during their mating season, the nests and their babies will be filled in with concrete.
We, the undersigned, call on the builders to postpone framing and any pouring of concrete until the Bank Swallows have finished their nesting.
