More than 38,000 Kiwis wrote to the Justice Select Committee about this Bill, and over 90% were concerned about the adverse impacts of the Bill upon Aotearoa New Zealand as a whole, including the health sector. This includes almost 2,000 doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, with over 93% of them deeply concerned about the implications of allowing doctors to administer lethal drugs to their patients in some circumstances. There are other ways to help people who are suffering, including improved access to palliative care.

We, the undersigned, request that you vote NO to the Euthanasia Bill.
The euthanasia Bill is fundamentally flawed and dangerous.
There are no effective safeguards that can adequately protect vulnerable people from coercion and wrongful deaths.
We urge you to reject this Bill now.
