At Boca Prep we go through hundreds of Styrofoam plates at lunch each day. Just imagine how much trash we as a school are contributing to the land fill sites over the course of a week.
It's time we put this to an end once and for all. Besides, wouldn't you rather have real plates and cutlery that are more civilized, rather than the horrid white styrofoam plates?
We, the undersigned, call on the school board to pay for real plates to eliminate the use of non reusable styrofoam plates.
