Under the national round of post office closures, Wyre Forest will lose four local post offices. Of these, two are unviable and it is reluctantly accepted that they should close. However, two, in Comberton Hill, Kidderminster, and Areley Kings, are thriving offices and local campaigns are being mounted to save these post offices. However, under the Government’s proposals, if they are saved, two others will close.
That is why this petition calls for a reduction in Wyre Forest’s closure from four to just two closures. IN that way, these two post offices can be closed without fear of service cuts elsewhere.
We, the undersigned, call on the Government to reduce the proposed post office closures in Wyre Forest from four to just two.
