We the undersigned residents of Carroll County, feel like the safety of our community is compromised after the suspicious firing of Fire Chief Gary Thomas.
Chief Thomas is MORE than qualified for this position. Over his 29 year career, he has demonstrated the ability to protect and serve the citizens of our community by his decision making abilities. His decisions reflect his desire to protect the life and property of this county, which is the fireman's creed.
We petition the Board of Commissioners to reinstate Gary Thomas as Fire Chief of Carroll County Fire/Rescue.
