Release The Far Side books by Gary Larson in e-book format

Andrews McMeel Publishing is the publisher for The Far Side, Calvin & Hobbes, Doonesbury, Dilbert, and many, many other comic strip books.

Andrews McMeel has published hundreds of comic strip books in e-book format (both Kindle and EPUB), including eight Calvin & Hobbes comic strip books. These e-books allow you to view Calvin & Hobbes and other comic strip books on your:
-- iPad or Android tablet
-- iPhone or Android smartphone
-- Kindle, Nook eReader, Kobo eReader, or other e-book reader
-- Windows or Macintosh computer

However, they have not yet published any The Far Side books by Gary Larson in e-book format. The Far Side would be an especially good fit for smartphones, which are a little small to view Calvin & Hobbes and most other comic strip books conveniently. Imagine how fun it would be, when you have a few minutes of downtime, to whip out your phone and flip through a few The Far Side cartoons.

We ask that Andrews McMeel publish The Far Side books by Gary Larson in e-book (Kindle and EPUB) format soon.

UPDATE APRIL 20, 2018:
I've just learned that the reason these haven't been released in ebook format is entirely because the cartoonist, Gary Larson, won't allow it. He only allows his cartoons to be published in traditional form -- physical books, physical calendars, etc.

So this petition is really asking Gary Larson to allow Andrews McMeel to publish his Far Side cartoons in e-book format. I've changed the petition accordingly.
