Artillery in World of Tanks has existed since the beginning, and has gone through numerous balance changes, even a total rework. Originally Artillery was made to compensate for bad map design, enemies in advantageous positions were punished for camping there by the artillery. In modern times artillery has become a nuisance, both for the person getting hit by artillery, and the person playing artillery. In the modern iteration of World of Tanks players are punished when they are NOT camping, instead they're forced to hide behind buildings or hills, and wait for the enemy to come to them, primarily due to Artillery and, again, bad map design.
Remove Artillery from the game entirely. WG doesn't have to refund anything, they don't have to rework artillery again, they just need to remove it entirely. They've tried numerous times to fix artillery and to rebalance it, and it has failed. Unplug Artillery's life support and let it die.
