We the residents, friends, tourists, potential tourists and concerned public request the Charters Towers Regional Council or any other authority deemed fit by the Charters Towers Shire Council take action and involve the State & Federal governments to control the bat population in Charters Towers and amend necessary legislations.
We believe this is a public health risk, a deterrent for tourists and a property damage liability.
People should not have to live with the stench these animals in plague proportion are creating.
