A facility is needed to house volunteers from all over the United Stated who will come at their own expense to help rebuild damaged homes in Houston from Hurricane Harvey. They will freely offer their services & skills to help the plethora of people affected by the flooding of August 2017, focusing on those who had no flood insurance and lack resources to rebuild. Of the numerous groups working together to help Houston residents rebuild after Harvey, The Disaster Pastor Network is mobilizing volunteers to come from all over the United States. The Disaster Pastor Network lead the largest faith based relief effort in US history in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, mobilizing 17,000 volunteers. We sincerely ask Mr. Scott McClelland, H-E-B President to graciously allow the community to use the vacant building located on the corner of W. Lake Houston Parkway in Kingwood Drive (former location of the old H-E-B until August of 2018.

Mr. McClelland, we request that H-E-B grants the use of the vacant building on the corner of W. Lake Houston Parkway in Kingwood Drive in Kingwood Texas. ( location of the former H-E-B store ), for the use of housing volunteer workers from all over the United States, that are offering their time, services, and skills two freeway help rebuild Houston from the damage sustained from the flooding from Hurricane Harvey. These volunteers are willing to help from altruistic motives, coming in at their own expense to help us in this time of need. We simply must provide them with housing as they come to generously offering their time to help those affected by the recent flooding. We are extremely appreciative for H-E-B who consistently demonstrates it’s Care and commitment for the benefit of the residents of Texas.
