Restoring our Bus services in Tweed Shire

The NSW Transport have announced 450 new and improved bus routes in the Tweed Shire.
This was announced on the 11th of December 2019 and came in force 5 days later on the 16th of December 2019.
A high number of previously established routes and. Services have been removed altogether.
This has angered the community, with large numbers of complaints to the NSW Transport and local MP Geoff Provest, unheard . The disabling of hundreds of commuters. Workers, elderly , parents, school children and tax payers everywhere have been told to walk .
Commuters that need to get to work, now have to change buses due the changes, causing them to be late. Some workers have now lost jobs due to their service being removed.
Most of these bus commuters live in isolated areas which they relied heavily on the local bus to get them into town and home again. A high number of commuters have a disability and are unable to walk up large hills, or long distances, forcing them to remain at home.
This has affected Elderly and aging residents in retirement homes that once relied on the service daily.
Some retirement homes and surrounding areas have been left with no service.
Services that once provided for a growing and aging community are now left stranded, with no viable way of getting to medical appointments, shopping or any social engagements etc.
We are asking for a compassionate outcome to this dilemma by returning the services that were removed and adding more regular buses to theses routes for the growing population of communities and towns.
