A petition to the federal government of Canada to give citizens the right to opt out of the Canada Pension Plan and invest instead into an RRSP.
It is our desire to see CPP restructured so that as a Canadian citizen, we have the right to withdraw
from the Canada Pension Plan, stop paying the premiums,and put that money instead into an RRSP. We believe that the CPP is not a viable program, and feel that we are currently paying into something that we may never benefit from in the future, and feel our money would be more wisely invested elsewhere.
