An Australian 25 year old budding Cricketer Phil Hughes died due to Cricket ball injury to his head that caused an abrupt end to his career.
Rest in Peace Phil Hughes.
It is possible to re-invent a new type of cricket ball that is less dangerous. This should at least be explored.
We, the undersigned, call on Cricket Australia to bring necessary changes to the composition of cricket balls so that they are not missiles but compatible to play safe cricket.
We, the undersigned, also call for a review of helmets and head gear so that a neckline accident is less likely in the safe play of cricket.
