Western Australia laws on Vaping and E-Cigarettes are old and out dated. With all the recent studies and research that have been undertaken with regards to Vaping, its very clear that WA government and health department needs to review and possible change their current laws on Vaping, other states in Australia have already changed their laws. In a recent study undertaken by the British Health Department, Vaping is 95% healthier than smoking and has been approved by the Cancer Research UK
Dear Mr McGowan,
We collectively ask you to review the current regulations and laws pertaining to Vaping and E- Cigarettes in Western Australia. It has become very clear that with the most recent studies and research that has been conducted on Vaping from International bodies (Cancer Research UK and Public Health England) and have concluded that e-cigarettes are significantly less harmful to health than tobacco and have the potential to help smokers quit smoking.
