Our Royal Mail deliver in Chigwell has been notably poorer over the last few weeks. Mail arrives extremely late and many times not at all. Many local residents are now forced to collect their regular mail from the depot in Debden which is some miles away. We call for an immediate improvement in the local service delivery.
We demand the hiring of new staff to cover temporary shortages based on COVID-19 shielding and self-isolation. We also call for adequate training to be provided to every new member of staff temporary or permanent.
We demand that a postal service that has been paid for is completed successfully
We the residents of Chigwell and the surrounding area call for an immediate improvement in Royal Mail postal deliveries in our community.
It is not good enough that local residents are having to travel to Debden Depot and risking COVID-19 infection.
