To make restaurant dining safe for
people who suffer from food-related
allergies.
There could be as many as 10 million Americans that suffer from food related
allergies. An estimated 150 Americans die each year from a food-related reaction (FDA). Help us push for the
now voluntary allergen labeling program
developed by the National Food Processors Association (and implemented by such institutions as McDonald's)
and make it mandatory for all restaurants to list products made with
common allergens either on the main menu, or on a supplementary document.
We, the undersigned, want the now voluntary allergen labeling program
developed by the National Food Processors Association (and implemented by such institutions as McDonald's)
made mandatory for all restaurants. Restaurants should list products made with common allergens either on the main menu, or on a supplementary document.
