On the 7th of August 2010 my brother Johnny rode his motorbike to the EJ Whitten Bridge and jumped. As harsh as that may sound it is the reality of the thoughts my family has had to deal with ever since that day.
After petitioning Vic Roads and Parliament to take action to get barriers on this bridge, there has been no action taken to even put up temporary barriers and this concerns me immensely as I am aware of lives still being lost.
Please friends sign this petition and get it out to as many people as you can we need action now not when it suits Vic Roads.
We the undersigned call on Vic Roads to install safety barriers on the EJ Whitten Bridge to prevent loss of lives due to suicide.
