Joanne Bly has been a wonderful tech that has worked along side Julie Ames. Together, they balance each other out, and are a great team. They have both contributed to keeping our children safe, while teaching them in a nurturing environment.
Joanne has been working with children for many years, including my own three children. They are now 16, 12, & 6. I have always been thankful to have these two caring individuals teaching my children.
Please don't let her go. If you want her to work towards an ed tech 2 or higher position, you should at least take into consideration her 21 years of experience, and allow her the opportunity to earn the credits that would allow her this pay increase. This is NOT the place to make cuts.
Joanne Bly has been teaching for 21 years! We, the undersigned are asking RSU 10 to reconsider their decision to terminate her position, and are asking that you allow her to continue working as a tech in the PreK room at Hartford-Sumner Elementary.
