Save Orchard House

I am looking for people to give me their signature in support of my campaign to stop the closure of 'Orchard House'

Orchard House is a long term care facility for those suffering from the many dementia diseases that are on the increase today. Plans are to close it and move the current terminal residents to another care home twenty miles away.

This is lunacy as the number of case of dementia are on the increase our health authority are planning to cut the number of beds for our terminally ill Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts and Uncles etc.

Dementia sufferers all have one thing in common - they will all need specialist full time care eventually. Why cut beds and move our loved ones away from near their relatives.

This closure will see my Husband Ken Pearson moved to another home where local public transport is expensive and infrequent. I, like many others who I have met whilst visiting the Orchard House, need to be able to see my husband daily and more importantly he needs to see me.

Orchard House is a rare place with caring staff and friendly community feel. Please help me stop it from closing and sign this petition.
