We received a notice to shut down our vegetable stand by City of Ottawa By-Law, after they received a complaint about our stand.
We have happily served the Alta Vista area for 3 years and receiving the outpouring support from the residents of that area, we feel compelled to fight to keep our stand open at Alta Vista.
Providing the residents of Ottawa fresh picked fruits and vegetables is all we've ever wanted to do.
Whereas Foster Family Farm is providing a healthy/valuable supply of Ottawa grown fresh fruit and veggies to the Alta Vista community, we the undersigned strongly recommend that their market kiosk be allowed to remain on the Rideau Park United Church property.
