The Roebuck/Huffman area is rich with history, and has been a vital part of the Birmingham area for well over a 100 years. The resurgence of this area over the past 5 years or so has been remarkable due to the investment of numerous companies (Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreen's, Ruby Tuesday, Arby's, Compass Bank, Chick-fil-a, Brannon Honda, just to name a few), and economic stimulus provided by the city.
Starbucks has also been a welcome part of this revitalization, and has contributed to the momentum. But, we still have a way to go and we need this momentum to continue. Starbucks is an icon that is needed in our community, and a special place to enjoy friends, good times, and great coffee!
Please help us Save Our Starbucks!
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that you reconsider the recently planned closing of the Starbucks located at 9190 Parkway East, in the Roebuck area of Birmingham, AL, and allow it to remain open.
