At a meeting of Thame Town Council on 10 August 2021, Officers from Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) presented their draft plans to change, and start charging for some parking arrangements in the Town Centre.
The plans, which can be viewed on the Thame Town Council website, will be subject to a full, but very short, public consultation in September prior to their proposed implementation in November 2021.

We the undersigned call on Oxfordshire County Council to stop the proposed introduction of paid parking in Thame town centre, due to begin in late 2021.
Until such time as viable, more user friendly alternatives have been fully considered and consulted on, in conjunction with more integrated public transport solutions.
