Planning Application has been sought (09/00370/FUL) by the owner of the Black Lion Public House, our landlord to demolish the existing West Ham boys boxing club at rear of The Black Lion Public House, to erect of 9 no. self-contained apartments and relocate boxing club to existing cellar.
The boxing club would be losing lots of it existing space, with lack of ceiling height and we are unsure where the members will train whilst the works are taking place.
This club has been a core part of the community since it was establish in 1922.
We the undersigned call upon Newham Council to reject the Planning Application (09/00370/FUL) for Demolition and relocation of West Ham Boys' Club
