Secession of the State of South Carolina

I feel that our voices as citizens of the United States of America have fallen on deaf ears, and that the state of the union is in a downward spiral.

Our rights under the Constitution of The United States are slowly being stripped away. We have allowed this to go on for too long, and it is time for us to be heard. We, as citizens of this great nation, need to stand for what we believe in and do something about it.

I, Clemond Ray Griffin II, respectfully request that in the event of New Hampshire and other such states described within, secede form the United States of America, that South Carolina State formally withdraw from the Union as well.

The reason for this seemingly extreme action is partly because of the current documents written by such states willing to secede if the national government continues to ignore state rights. And most states have voiced their concern about the current economic situation; the pull out of South Carolina will send a message to all states on the verge, and thus intensify the movement for reform. The movement to confiscate firearms without state consent has led many to believe that the national government has threatened to throw out Constitutional rights.

If Martial Law is enacted, the following has been written by the State of Arizona and in similar formats throughout the states;

"That when or if the President of the United States, the Congress of the United States or any other federal agent or agency declares the Constitution of the United States to be suspended or abolished, if the President or any other federal entity attempts to institute martial law or its equivalent without an official declaration in one or more of the states without the consent of that state or if any federal order attempts to make it unlawful for individual Americans to own firearms or to confiscate firearms, the State of Arizona, when joined by thirty-four of the other fifty states, declares as follows: that the states resume all state powers delegated by the Constitution of the United States and assume total sovereignty; that the states re-ratify and re-establish the present Constitution of the United States as the charter for the formation of a new federal government, to be followed by the election of a new Congress and President and the reorganization of a new judiciary, similarly following the precedent and procedures of the founding fathers; that individual members of the military return to their respective states and report to the Governor until a new President is elected; that each state assume a negotiated, prorated share of the national debt; that all land within the borders of a state belongs to the state until sold or ceded to the central government by the state's Legislature and Governor; and that once thirty-five states have agreed to form a new government, each of the remaining fifteen be permitted to join the new confederation on application."

In light of this recent bill by both Arizona and with a similar motion in New Hampshire, yet more currently in New Hampshire, this petition has been created to voice the people's support of secession if necessary for the preservation of a more stable Union. To combat the threat of continuing national corruption, and to ensure the success of state rights.

I, Clemond Ray Griffin II, declare that in the event of New Hampshire seceding, the state of South Carolina will declare its independence from the United States of America, to formally join the cause of New Hampshire and to thus put pressure on the national government to recognize the widespread problems of today that are greatly apparent. During such time, the state of South Carolina will pledge full support to the cause of succession in any or all cities throughout the Capital District.

In reading the Constitution I, Clemond Ray Griffin II, have come to the conclusion that if accelerated federal corruption ensues, the government being the servant of the people, should and ought to be, reorganized. And as a Union of free and equal states, it is the duty of all Americans delegated and non delegated, in the state of South Carolina, to support the secession of New Hampshire and other such states. Furthermore I, Clemond Ray Griffin II, feel it is in the best interest of the people to secede with the following states in the event of New Hampshire pulling out of the Union, those states include but are not limited to; Vermont, Georgia, Montana, Oklahoma, Arizona and Maine.
