It has recently come to light (despite it trying to be kept under the radar), that David Lloyd Basildon are looking to reduce the current 3 squash courts to 1 and make way for a Blade Studio.
There has been no consultation with members regarding this change, despite it's significance, nor discussion regarding the impact that it could potentially have.
The recent changes/improvements which have been made, were displayed in prominent locations around the building, the only notification displayed regarding this is a small A4 piece of paper on a noticeboard.
Please sign this petition to continue to have this facility - Gidea Park did and are getting to keep their courts, let's do the same for Basildon.
When using the courts could you please use the booking system or ask reception who can do this for you, as any time spent on the court not booked on the system will show up as non usage - which I believe is where this justification has come from.
