Recently Justice Stephen Campbell handed down yet another lenient sentence for the perpetrator (Kieran Loveridge) who attacked several people unprovoked in a drunken rage, while on a good behavior bond for similar offences.
Kieran Loveridge's actions resulted in the death of Thomas Kelly who was an innocent bystander to Kieran's in-discriminant attacks. Justice Stephen Campbell by his ridiculously lenient sentencing of a repeat offender is at best condoning this kind of violence against innocent people, and at worst promoting it as a minor criminal activity that should attract lenient sentencing.
Judges like Justice Stephen Campbell need to be removed from our legal system swiftly, so that Judges who respect the needs and wants of the community at large can preside and enforce just sentencing for violent repeat offenders by removing them from our community for the maximum allowable period of time without parole.
Please sign this petition and help us to force the NSW Government and other Australian Governments to start taking notice of what the Australian people expect of them. The first step is to remove those in positions of power such as Stephen Campbell who do not reflect these expectations as set by the community at large.
