The Duaringa Bull Ride is on 7 April 2018. Bull riding is the intentional infliction of harm - pain and distress - on bulls for entertainment. The local government endorses, supports & permits this grotesque perversity.
We, as residents of conscience & from great concern for the animals’ welfare, vehemently oppose this event.
We object to legalised cruelty. We condemn violence & cruelty to all creatures.
We condemn the participants & promoters of this event.
We beseech the Central Highlands Regional Council to withdraw the permit on council land for this event.
WE, the undersigned, being citizens of good conscience & ethics, call upon the Central Highlands Regional Council to withdraw any permit for the Duaringa Bull Ride in 7 April 2018
