Daylight savings time was developed in the 1895 for the benefit of farmers for planting and harvesting. During WW1 is it reinstated for production of materials to support the needs of WW1 and too reduce the energy use of electricity.
In theory people who need to or want to could wake up earlier to take advantage of daylight.
Shifting to daylight savings time each spring does not apply to the population, industry in the United States.
We, the undersigned, call on citizens of the United States of America to eliminate Daylight Savings Time.
