Please help stop the expansion of Freeport Parkway.
They are planning on cutting down all the beautiful trees that line that historic, beautiful drive near Wagon Wheel park. It is the last country road, the last nice drive through Coppell.
Please help preserve the trees that have been there for over 150 years. The warehouse workers have several other routes to take, we don't need another expansion!
As a voter and a concerned citizen of Coppell, I urge you to stop the expansion of Freeport Parkway before it begins.
We want to preserve the historic trees and maintain at least one of the beautiful country roads left in our community. It is not necessary to expand this road as there are many other alternate routes leading to 121 from I 6-35 through Coppell currently.
We have the money to spend on other projects and the dollars already spent on the purchase of homes, could be replenished by sale of the properties.
Please help us maintain at least some of the small community feeling we have left, please.
