STOP HR826 It's UNSAFE, UNFAIR and UNFUNDED

HR826 is deceitfully called the Safe and Supportive Schools Act but it is unsafe to kids, unfair to parents and unfunded to school districts. This legislation would create a hostile environment for the freedom of speech and conscience.

It is unfair to parental rights in that children can be charged with bullying and treated without parents knowledge. It comes with an unfunded and hefty price tag of $35-$40 million on school districts whose currently effective anti-bullying policies are automatically repealed.

The recent Student Survey shows that bullying is decreasing, showing that schools current policies are effective. This law abuses kids, parents and local authority. It is a waste of the hard working taxpayer dollar and an abuse of power.
