Stop Legalization of Cultivating Marijuana within Lancaster, California

With the initial legalization of medical marijuana within several cities and states, it became impossible for all doctor locations to be fully monitored. The ability to obtain a medical marijuana license does not require any other doctor recommendations, and provided to those who even claimed a headache. Doctors were doing it illegally and most places talking to a doctor over a laptop computer an empty office but with only a receptionist. Now with the legalization of marijuana as a recreational drug there are no limits to what people will do with this freedom.
Marijuana is no different from any other drug. It alters the brain chemistry, brings unproductiveness, creates a "high", delusions, paranoia, a removal from reality, and laziness in individuals who smoke or ingest it.
The cultivation of it within the city limits of Lancaster, California should not be for the reasons of financial gain that the government will receive. This focus is disregarding the well being and mental health of the people of our city. Allowing the cultivation of marijuana within our city will only further encourage the use of marijuana and the confirmation of the counsels' disregard in how it will affect the city as a whole people.
Consider the voice of the people, putting aside the pocketbook of marijuana cultization, who truly want to contribute to being a productive part of society, and help this city to flourish in the businesses and jobs created.
