Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been free to enter for over 100yrs & guests have walked around this themepark stacked in history for free.
In 2009 Blackpool Pleasure Beach are to wipe away this 100yrs of free history & CHARGE £5 just to step on the park..
BRITAIN'S favourite free tourist attraction is to break with a century of tradition by introducing a charge for admission.
From the start of the 2009 season, customers who vist Pleasure Beach Blackpool will need to purchase either a Gold, Silver or Bronze pass. Gold and Silver passes will be the new names for adult and children’s wristbands respectively whilst the Bronze pass, which will cost £5, allow access to the park as well as rides on Pleasure Beach Express and Monorail, Noah’s Ark and the Chinese Puzzle Maze, and enjoy a matinee performance of South Beach Musical.
Only under-threes will get in free.
The park refused to comment but said it was telling customers about the change this year so that they had time to get used to it.
SO WHAT DO WE WANT TO GET FROM THIS...
Pleasure Beach Blackpool has been free to get into for well over 100yrs & we think it should stay FREE. We hope to try to over turn this charge.
