We, the undersigned, residents and taxpayers of Canada, draw the attention of Stéphane Dion and the Liberal party to the following: that
1) A carbon tax will increase the cost of almost everything we buy.
2) A carbon tax will unfairly impact seniors on fixed incomes and families.
3) A carbon tax will increase costs to businesses and industries, leading to job losses and plant closures.
Therefore, we the petitioners call upon Stéphane Dion and the Liberal party to listen to Canadians and scrap the carbon tax.
